Ektio Wraptor- First generation shoe.  Limited Quantities left, limited sizes available.  Final sale, no returns.  Exchanges, however, are permitted.

Light-as-air high-top with cut-back ankle in black action leather with black mesh and opposing color underlays, provides a superior breathability upper. Accents include a black patent leather toe and ankle details, black midsole and black bumpers. The evolutionary designed carbon fiber shank of the shoe is revealed at the arch of the foot. The two black patent leather and Velcro straps with a white embroidered Ektio logo run through a color-coded buckle. A heavy-duty webbed tab at the ankle assists pull on. Inner game technology includes a proprietary foam fabrication that assists the forefoot and heel with shock absorption.

Rating Almost exactly what I hoped for.....
The theory behind the shoe is awesome. The shoe works very well to prevent foot and lower ankle sprains. My only 2 complaints, are that the materials seem very "cheap" for a shoe that costs this much, and I was/am disappointed in the lack of higher ankle support. Suggestion would be another model of shoe that goes higher up the ankle, and has a strap also around the top, to provide more upper ankle support.

Hi, second pair of ektios and although I like the shoe and its overall concept and goal which it does help prevent ankle sprain since I have not incurred one as of late, I do notice a design flaw with the shoes. The inner strap should be shorter because I constantly have an issues of the inner strap running into the outer strap towards the end. I believe that would make them more usable. My inner straps are barely hanging on because I have tightened them up leaving me not much velcro to attach them too and my top strap runs into the bottom one when securing it. Hope that makes sense. That would fix the problem.

Rating As Advertised!!
The shoe has done its job for me twice already this past couple of months I have been using it. Actually prevented my ankles from rolling/sprain. I like the looks of the shoe, material was good, grip was excellent. The only gripe I had with the shoe (why the 4 stars) is that the toe part of the shoe is too high.My toes are just slide when ever I do a sharp cut, which caused me to get blisters on my big toe and the big ball joint. other than that, I bought this shoe to prevent ankle injuries and have the freedom of movement that is negated when I use hard ankle supports. It has done it's job VERY VERY VERY VERY WELL.

Rating overall a good shoe
I play about 4 times a week and have used the wraptors for about 3-4 months. There is a little learning curve in putiing them on. The shoes feel fairly comfortable considering I normally wear a wide shoe. It would be nice to be able to get the shoes in a wide though. Only complaint so far has been the inserts are lose and slide around in the shoe. I have to reset them after each use. Maybe I'll glue them in? They have definately helped me feel more secure as I wear a 14 and am more likely to come down on other feet. Wear has been good so far.
